Micro-entrepreneur/microenterprises need both short-term funding to invest in working capital to grasp the seasonal business opportunities and long-term funding to enhance the business in investing in fixed assets. As the need of loan size of this segment may ‘TOO LARGE & RISKY’ for MFIs and ‘TOO SMALL & COSTLY’ for commercial banks, these ‘MISSING MIDDLE’ segments are not getting easy access to finance. Hence Siddhartha Bank has formed a Micro Banking Division to cater the financial requirement of micro-entrepreneurs, small-holder farmers, and Low-income groups. Under the division, tailor-made Products, and Services are designed in such a way that they do not feel any hassle in procurement.
