EMI Loan

 

As an added service to SBL credit card customers, Siddhartha Bank has launched EMI loan service on 0% interest to facilitate customers to purchase goods and services paying on monthly basis for certain period from authorized merchants of the Bank. Customers can purchase goods or avail services now and pay later as per their cash flow. 

For any customer who does not have Credit Card Facility will also be eligible for EMI Loan Facility after submitting the Credit Card application & completing the Credit Card issuance procedure.

       Eligibility Criteria

  • To participate in SBL EMI loan facility, the customer must be SBL credit card holder. It is provided only up to pre-approved credit limit. The credit limit must be available during EMI loan processing up to requested amount.
  • Customers must purchase good/service from SBL authorized merchants only.
  • Credit card must be used for at least 3 months with good payment history.
     

    EMI Loan Facility Tenure

    The tenure of EMI loan facility shall be as per the agreement between the bank and merchant. Generally, the bank accept 6/12/18 month EMI tenure period.
     

    Fees & Charges

    EMI loan processing fee

    Rs. 1,000 or 1% of EMI loan amount, whichever is higher.

     


 

 

  • The EMI loan application form is available at all branches, merchant outlets and at Bank’s website.
  • The customer shall fill up the application form specifying the credit card number, product details, EMI tenure and take merchant’s authorized signature & stamp along with quotation of the product/service and submit it to any branches of SBL.
  • Upon receiving the quotation and the application, the Bank shall verify the sufficient credit limit, satisfactory transaction history of customer and shall process for Delivery Order (DO).
  • The Delivery Order with stamp of the Bank shall be provided to the customer against which merchant provides the mentioned goods/services.
  • Once the merchant receives the Delivery order, the merchant shall process for delivery of the product/service to the customer.
  • The billing of EMI due amount is on every 25th of English calendar month when statement is generated and payment date falls on after 15 days of statement date (i.e. on 10th of next month).
  • If the customer has given the authority to debit the account, payment will be made automatically from his/her account as per the instruction.
  • Customer not maintaining account at Siddhartha Bank has to make the payment manually over the counter using card payment slip or can make online payments via other Bank's app/esewa/khalti etc.
  • Customer has option to settle the total EMI loan dues at any point of time.
