Siddhartha Mutual Fund is the first company to conceptualize an issue mutual fund schemes as per the Mutual Fund Regulation, 2010. We are currently managing two close-ended schemes: Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) and Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) to provide regular and balanced returns over the scheme period. It focuses on higher possible capital appreciation at the end of the maturity by balancing risk elements through composite invested strategy and proper weightage plan. The efficiency of the scheme management is reflected via its Net Asset Value (NAV) and consistent dividend payments.
Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - I (SIGS1)
Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - I (SIGS1), a 5-year close-ended scheme was the first Mutual Fund scheme launched under Siddhartha Mutual Fund as per the Mutual Fund Regulation, 2010. The scheme was launched on Poush 10, 2069 (December 25, 2012). The scheme’s basic fund size was NPR 500 million and had a maturity period of five years (i.e. Poush 10, 2069 – Poush 09, 2074). The scheme during its tenure successfully distributed cash dividends to its unit holders at 5%, 15%, 15%, 30%, and 60% for FY 2069/70, 2070/71, 2071/72, 2072/73, and 2073/74 respectively. After the successful maturity, the scheme redeemed its unit holders at the rate of NPR 21.777 (before tax) per unit.
Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF)
Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) is a close-ended equity scheme with a fund size of NPR 1.5 billion having a maturity period of 10 years. The scheme was listed on Kartik 23, 2074 and will mature on Kartik 22, 2084. The objective of the fund is to generate returns by investing in a mix of securities comprising of equity, equity related instruments and fixed income instruments as allowed by prevailing rules/regulations on mutual fund. Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - 2 (SIGS2), a 10-year close-ended scheme is the fourth Mutual Fund scheme launched under Siddhartha Mutual Fund as per the Mutual Fund Regulation, 2010. The scheme was launched on Shrawan 23, 2076 (August 8, 2019). The scheme’s basic fund size was NPR 1.20 billion and had a maturity period of 10 years (i.e. Bhadra 9, 2076 – Bhadra 08, 2086). The objective of the scheme is to generate returns by investing in a mix of securities comprising of equity, equity related instruments as allowed by prevailing rules/regulations on mutual fund. Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) was the second scheme initiated and launched after the successful delivery of the first scheme. SEOS is also a close-ended scheme with a fund size of NPR 1000 million with a maturity period of five years. The scheme was launched on Shrawan 7, 2071 and expired on Shrawan 6, 2076.
