Position:  Senior Network Administrator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Junior Officer Level

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or CGPA 2.5 in the field of Information Technology/Computer Science /Computer Engineering with at least 2.5 years of related work experience

Or

Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or CGPA 2.5 in the field of Information Technology/ Computer Science /Computer Engineering with at least 1.5 years of relevant work experience

AGE LIMIT

Male: Age not exceeding 35 years as on application deadline

Female: Age not exceeding 40 years as on application deadline

JOB PROFILE:

• Identify and resolve network issues, including performance bottlenecks, outages, and security threats.
• Ensure minimal downtime and fast recovery of systems in case of failures.
• Maintain and update firewall, VPN, and other security protocols.
• Work with the security team to perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Analyze and optimize network performance, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability including branch networks.
• Maintain policy documentation of network infrastructure, configurations.
• Provide regular reports on network health, performance metrics, and security status.
• Document network incidents and ensure corrective measures are taken.
• Mentor and guide Junior Network Administrators and ICT staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, ICT Support, Systems Admin, etc.).
• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for network systems.
• Ensure that the Bank’s network infrastructure is resilient and can quickly recover from potential disruptions.
• Full-time position with on-call duties during network emergencies.
• Possible travel for on-site troubleshooting or equipment installation.

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

• Strong experience in managing complex network environments, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and load balancers.
• Experience with networking protocols and network monitoring tools.
• Expertise in troubleshooting network issues across various platforms.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

JOB PROFILE:

• Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls 
• Setup and Implement VLANs, VPNs, routes and other network protocols as and when required 
• Troubleshoot and provide support for branch communication link, network and system-related issues 
• Visit branches and departments for network and system configuration, replacement and connectivity issues
• Verify timely backup of critical devices and systems
• Install, configure, manage End Point Protection clients, server, policies and tasks
• Monitor and support Email System
• Troubleshoot and provide support for email related issues
• Manage users and policies in Active Directory
• Install and upgrade Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

• Proven working experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Juniper, Arista appliances
• Proven experience in Network administration with strong knowledge of networking protocols
• Working experience with Active Directory, SCCM, Virtualization, Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Infrastructure
• Strong network troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to plan and organize work
• Adaptability, positive attitude, and proactive
